KIU University is proud to collaborate with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Maldives in advancing capacity building, inclusive education, and leadership development within the Maldivian school education sector.
As part of this partnership, KIU University hosted the Maldives Inclusive Education Teachers’ Capacity Building Engagement, welcoming senior officials and inclusive education professionals from the Republic of Maldives to participate in a structured academic and professional training programme. The engagement was designed to strengthen inclusive classroom practices, promote equitable learning environments, and support national priorities in educational development.
In addition, KIU University conducted a national-level training programme on Transformational Leadership in Education: Guiding Schools to Excellence, tailored for school principals, team leaders, and assistant team leaders across the Maldives. The programme focused on strengthening institutional leadership capacity, enhancing school governance practices, and supporting strategic educational transformation at the system level
These initiatives reflect KIU University’s broader mandate to deliver globally benchmarked professional development that translates academic expertise into practical leadership impact. Through close coordination with education authorities in the Maldives, KIU continues to support knowledge exchange and institutional collaboration aligned with regional development priorities.
