The Students’ Welfare Committee at KIU is dedicated to supporting students’ academic success and personal well-being through a range of targeted initiatives. It organises workshops on time management, study skills, and leadership, and offers mentorship programs to guide students throughout their journey. The committee ensures access to essential services such as healthcare, accommodation, and extracurricular activities, promoting a balanced student life. By addressing student concerns and fostering inclusivity, the committee cultivates a supportive environment that empowers students to thrive both academically and personally.
“My time at Cambridge has been the most rewarding few years of my life. I applied with an idea of Cambridge as this distant mythical place where I couldn’t quite
imagine myself belonging, but I now struggle to see myself anywhere else.
The opportunities at Cambridge are like no other – from participating in clubs and societies to finding your way around College and learning to live independently. Most of all, the chance to study a subject you love while surrounded by students and academics who are just as passionate about it as you are leaves you with skills to take forward into life far beyond those you were expecting when you applied. I cannot encourage you enough to read on and then take the leap and apply!”
