The Leo Club of KIU University is a vibrant student-led organization affiliated with Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service club organization. Founded with the core values of Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity (LEO), the club serves as a platform for KIU undergraduates to engage in impactful community service, develop personal and professional leadership skills, and foster a culture of volunteerism across campus and beyond.
The Leo Club offers an inclusive space for students from all faculties to collaborate on diverse service projects, charity campaigns, and awareness programs. Members actively participate in local and national outreach efforts such as:
Through workshops, seminars, and leadership camps, students gain valuable experience in project planning, public speaking, fundraising, and stakeholder collaboration—essential skills that complement their academic journey.
“My time at Cambridge has been the most rewarding few years of my life. I applied with an idea of Cambridge as this distant mythical place where I couldn’t quite
imagine myself belonging, but I now struggle to see myself anywhere else.
The opportunities at Cambridge are like no other – from participating in clubs and societies to finding your way around College and learning to live independently. Most of all, the chance to study a subject you love while surrounded by students and academics who are just as passionate about it as you are leaves you with skills to take forward into life far beyond those you were expecting when you applied. I cannot encourage you enough to read on and then take the leap and apply!”
