KIU University, a trendsetter in innovative higher education and future-focused initiatives in the country, proudly hosted an international capacity-building programme in Sri Lanka under the theme “Transformational Leadership in Education : Guiding Schools to excellence” for a distinguished delegation of school principals from the Maldives.

This global leadership development initiative is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education Maldives, with the objective of enhancing professional knowledge, strengthening practical competencies, and fostering collaborative approaches to transformational leadership within educational institutions.

The programme was ceremonially inaugurated on 26th March 2026 at the KIU University premises, where a warm and gracious welcome was extended to the Maldivian delegation, marking the beginning of a meaningful and enriching journey.

We are confident that this initiative will serve as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, professional growth, and the development of long-lasting partnerships between Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
