Board of Nursing

The Board of Nursing at KIU is dedicated to advancing the nursing profession through rigorous postgraduate education, research, and leadership training. All programs offered are accredited and recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Master of Nursing Education

The Master of Nursing Education is a specialized program designed to empower nurses to assume leadership roles in teaching and curriculum development. It focuses on educational theory, instructional design, and mentorship — preparing graduates to educate and inspire the next generation of nurses or provide continuing professional development for practicing nursing staff.

Master of Nursing Management

The Master of Nursing Management develops healthcare leaders capable of navigating the complexities of modern healthcare systems. The program emphasizes management

principles, policy formulation, leadership skills, and strategic decision-making essential for administrative and managerial roles in nursing and healthcare institutions.

Master of Science in Nursing

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSc Nursing) aims to enhance professional practice through the integration of theory, research, and clinical expertise. It cultivates leadership, innovation, and specialized skills that enable nurses to excel in clinical, educational, and administrative roles within evolving healthcare environments.

Master of Philosophy in Nursing

The Master of Philosophy in Nursing [MPhil (Nursing)] is a research-based degree that advances the scholarly and investigative capabilities of graduate nurses. It prepares candidates to conduct high-quality nursing research, pursue doctoral studies, and assume advanced roles as nursing academics, administrators, practitioners, and researchers. Successful completion may also lead to progression to doctoral studies (SLQF Level 12).

Master of Business Administration (Management Strategy)

The Master of Business Administration (Management Strategy) is a two-year postgraduate program designed to equip professionals with strategic management skills and a global perspective on business leadership. The program comprises six academic terms with approximately 600 interactive hours and over 60 hours of faculty consultation. Delivered in a blended-learning format, it combines online and face-to-face teaching, research engagement, skills development, and both local and international residential workshops. Graduates emerge as competent, ethical, and strategic leaders ready to excel in dynamic organizational environments.
