The newest addition to its postgraduate portfolio is the Master of Business Administration (Management Strategy) an SLQF Level 10, two-year program comprising six academic terms. It includes approximately 600 interaction hours and over 60 hours of faculty consultation covering research, skills development, directed study, and both local and international residential workshops. The program is delivered in a blended-learning mode, combining online and face-to-face teaching and learning.

(a) A Bachelor’s degree including 30 credit passes in Business Administration, Public Administration, Commerce, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Accountancy, Finance, Estate Management and Valuation, Business Economics, Operations Management, Management Information System or Economics recognized by the University Grants Commission or Ministry assigned the subject of Higher Education ; or

(b) a qualification of SLQF Level 6 or above in Business Administration, Public Administration, Commerce, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Accountancy, Finance, Estate Management and Valuation, Business Economics, Operations Management, Management Information System or Economics ; or

(c) a professional qualification equivalent to SLQF Level 6 or above ; or

(d) completion of NVQ Level 7 in a relevant area, recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) with a minimum GPA of 3.0 at a scale of 0-4, as determined by the Specified Authority for admission in that field of specialization; or

(e) Bachelor’s degree in any subject area, recognized by the University Grants Commission or the Ministry assigned the subject of Higher Education with post qualifying experience of two years in the relevant field; or

(f) a Postgraduate Diploma of not less than one year or Higher Degree in any other subject area recognized by the University Grants Commission or Ministry assigned the subject of Higher Education with post qualifying experience of two years in the relevant field; or

(g) one of the following professional qualification with post qualifying experience of two years in the relevant field:-

(i) Diploma in Marketing awarded by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM); or

(ii) Professional qualification in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Personnel Management (IPM).
