ACD1401 – Anatomy and Physiology 

Covers the human body’s structure and function, including musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and nervous systems, providing the biomedical foundation for acupuncture practice. 

ACD1202 – Massage Therapy 

Teaches foundational massage techniques to complement acupuncture, including therapeutic applications, pressure points, and methods to enhance circulation and relieve muscle tension. 

ACD1203 – Philosophy and Theories of Acupuncture 

Explores the historical development, philosophy, and theoretical principles of acupuncture, including Qi, Yin-Yang balance, and the Five Elements theory. 

ACD1604 – Meridians, Aetiology and Pathogenesis 

Focuses on the body’s meridian system, understanding Qi flow, disease causes, and mechanisms of disease development according to acupuncture principles, supporting clinical decision-making. 

ACD1605 – Acupuncture Diagnostics and Techniques 

Covers patient assessment through observation and palpation, with practical training in safe needling, point selection, depth control, and administration of acupuncture therapy. 

ACD1906 – Clinical Observation 

Provides exposure to real-world clinical settings, observing patient assessments, treatment planning, and application of acupuncture techniques under supervision. 

ACD1907 – Clinical Practice 

Offers hands-on patient care experience, refining practical skills, managing clinical cases, and developing professional confidence in acupuncture practice.
