The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biomedical Science at KIU is a research-driven undergraduate program that explores life at the molecular, cellular, and population levels. Students gain comprehensive knowledge in human biology, molecular pathology, genetics, microbiology, and clinical diagnostics, complemented by hands-on experience in state-of-the-art laboratories. 

With a final-year research project and modules aligned with global biomedical standards, the program equips students to: 

  • Apply scientific methods for problem-solving and experimental design. 
  • Perform and interpret fundamental laboratory techniques confidently. 
  • Understand current challenges in biomedical science and communicate complex scientific concepts effectively. 

Graduates are prepared to become skilled and knowledgeable scientists, ready to pursue careers in research, healthcare, academia, or industry.
